Welcome!
I’m Natalie, a registered dietitian nutritionist, functional medicine practitioner, and certified exercise physiologist
I help people who’ve been told their labs are “normal” but still don’t feel like themselves, especially when it comes to gut health, blood sugar balance, hormone health, fertility, thyroid conditions, and autoimmune disease. My goal is to help you find the root cause and fully heal and balance from the inside out.
All that combined and you have the functional medicine foodie!
I believe healing and balance is possible for almost anyone, when you have the right plan in place: nutrition, stress management, sleep, and movement, working together instead of in isolation.
My Background
My education and training combine traditional nutrition science with advanced functional medicine, allowing me to take an evidence-based, root-cause approach to health.
— Master of Science in Human Nutrition and Functional Medicine through the collaborative program offered by the University of Western States and the Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM)
— Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from the University of Northern Colorado
— Bachelor of Science in Health and Exercise Science from Black Hills State University
—Certified Exercise Physiologist and Certified Personal Trainer through the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM)
Since 2014, I have worked as a corporate wellness dietitian at Apple while also building my private practice. Balancing both roles has allowed me to work with people from all walks of life while staying grounded in the same philosophy of care.
In addition to working with clients, I serve as a nutrition writer and medical reviewer for nationally recognized health publications, including Healthline, Greatist, Medical News Today, and WellnessVerge.
Whether I am working with corporate employees, private clients, or educating readers through trusted health publications, my goal is the same: to uncover the root causes of symptoms and help people restore their health through personalized nutrition and a functional medicine approach.

My goal is for you to feel confident and empowered in your health, not confused by conflicting advice. Here’s how I can help you:
What Clients Are Saying
“After one month of strictly following Natalie’s suggestions, my A1C came back to normal range, my symptoms have gone, my cholesterol levels have improved. I feel much more energetic, basically like a normal human being again. I would recommend Natalie to anyone who has health issues that doctors can’t really treat without diet.”
“I really appreciate that Natalie listened and took my concerns seriously. She had valid, concrete points and developed a plan of action, whereas the outside practitioner I spoke to just shrugged off my concerns. Natalie was able to pinpoint the problem and develop a plan. I am very grateful for her patient skills and knowledge base.”
“My husband unexpectedly got very sick and the doctors made it seem like a full recovery was impossible. Natalie became such a beacon of hope for us. As soon as we started following her advice, he started slowly improving. At his follow up appointment, his doctor said he had never seen a patient recover so quickly. I am incredibly grateful for the life-changing advice she gave us.”

I’ve spent
15+ years in nutrition and wellness
My passion for helping others began long before my own health journey. However, experiencing an autoimmune condition firsthand gave me a deeper understanding of what it feels like to search for answers, advocate for yourself, and navigate the frustration of not feeling well.
By taking a root-cause approach that combined nutrition, lifestyle changes, and personalized care, I was able to regain my health and reverse my own autoimmune disease. That experience reinforced everything I already believed as a practitioner and strengthened my commitment to looking beyond symptoms to uncover the underlying causes of illness and imbalance.
Today, I combine both my professional expertise and personal experience to help people improve their gut health, balance their hormones, support thyroid health, and address the root causes of their symptoms with individualized, evidence-informed care.
